Under Sensor Configuration, the Management page enables you to manage all your sensors in one convenient location. You can search, filter, and sort to find and manage your sensors. You can also easily add sensors to Self-Help, Checklists, and the Experience Index.
View a List of Sensors
To view a list of sensors:
In the left menu, under Sensor Configuration, select Management.
At the top of the page, select the required perspective. The list displays the following information about sensors:
Visibility: Whether the sensor is shown or hidden globally
Status: For Experience Index sensors only
Sensor Name
Affected: The number of systems currently triggering this sensor.
Category (Health Category for Experience Index sensors)
Severity

Sensor Perspectives
At the top of the Management page, a dropdown lets you switch between different perspectives. Each perspective filters and presents sensors for a specific purpose:
All Sensors: Shows every sensor in your environment.
Self-Help: Shows sensors included in Self-Help.
System Checklist: Shows sensors included in System Checklists.
Assist - Detected Issues: Shows sensors included in Assist Detected Issues.
Experience Index: Shows sensors that contribute to the Experience Index score. For details, see the Experience Index.
View or Edit a Sensor's Details
To view or edit a sensor's details:
To enable editing, select the lock.
Click a sensor name from the list. A dialog box appears where you can view or edit the details across several tabs.
When you finish making changes, click Update Sensor Configuration at the top of the page.
General
In the General tab, you can:
Check the sensor description.
Add Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) to the sensor with a URL and text.

Visibility
In the Visibility tab, you can configure where a sensor is available:
Show or Hide: Hidden sensors continue to be evaluated on systems but are not shown in Prevent or Resolve. Visible sensors can be added to Assist, Self-Help, or the System Checklist.
Add to Self-Help
Add to System Checklist
Add to Assist - Detected Issues.

Variables
In the Variables tab, you can view or edit the sensor's variable values. See Edit a Sensor Variable's Value below.
Experience Index
In the Experience Index tab, you can configure how a sensor contributes to the Experience Index score (see Categories and Sensors in the Experience Index):
Experience Index Inclusion: A toggle that controls whether this sensor contributes impact to the Experience Index. When disabled, the sensor continues to collect data and remains available in all workflows, but it does not affect the score.
Impact Minutes: A slider (1 to 5 minutes) that sets how many minutes of impact this sensor applies per 5-minute evaluation cycle. A higher value means the sensor has a greater effect on the Experience Index when it triggers. This slider is disabled when the sensor is excluded from the Experience Index.
Category: A read-only field showing which Experience Index category this sensor belongs to.

Show: Makes the sensor available globally
Add to Self-Help: Displays the sensor in Self-Help
Add to System Checklist: Displays the sensor in System Checklists
Add to Assist - Detected Issues: Displays the sensor in Assist when active
Enable: Allows the sensor to contribute to the Experience Index score
Disable: Removes the sensor’s impact on the Experience Index score while it continues to collect data
Confirm the action in the system prompt.
Click Update Sensor Configuration at the top of the page.
