Sensor Management Page

Learn how to manage sensors, adjust visibility settings, customize variables, and control how issues are presented throughout SysTrack.

Video Transcript

The Management page under the Sensor Configuration category allows you to view and manage SysTrack sensors. You can see whether the sensors are visible or hidden, how many systems are affected, the category under which it is organized, its severity, and when it was last modified and by whom.

To edit a sensor, click on the sensor name.

On the General tab, you can add links to Knowledge Base Articles to display in the sensor description.

The Visibility tab lets you set whether the sensor is shown or hidden in SysTrack tools. The sensor will continue to be evaluated, even if hidden. Alternatively, you can customize visibility. Use the checkboxes to specify whether the sensor is included in Self-Help Tools, the System Checklist in Assist, Pulse, and Resolve, and the Detected Issues page in Assist and Pulse.

If the sensor includes customizable options, the Variables tab allows you to adjust the values[TM4.1]. Changes to these values are global throughout the SysTrack tenant. To make changes that will affect a smaller set of users, use Roles instead.

The sensor list can be restricted to those that are included on the Detected Issues page, the Self-Help app, and the System Checklist.

Select one or more sensors and use the Bulk Actions button to perform a limited set of actions.
