NOTE: These settings are enabled by default. If your organization clears them for privacy reasons, SysTrack AI stops identifying users. Review the impact before you change them. To collect user information from Microsoft Entra ID you must also configure the Office 365 integration.

Inventory Management
Collect Active Directory Info: Collects additional user details from Active Directory, including user identity attributes such as user principal name and email address, and details such as office, telephone number, department, and directories. This setting controls whether the user principal name and email address are written to the user record. This option has effect only while Collect Users Organizational Unit is selected.
Get Egress IP Address: Collects the device’s external (egress) IP address. When enabled, the agent runs an external IP lookup to determine the public‑facing IP used for outbound traffic. Clear this option to prevent the agent from contacting external IP‑check services.
User Collection
Collect Basic User Info: Collects basic user details, such as full name and home directory. Clear this option to stop collecting this information.
Collect Users Organizational Unit: Collects the organizational unit of the user logged into the system, retrieved from Active Directory. Clear this option to stop collecting this information. Clearing it also stops collection of the other Active Directory user details gathered under Collect Active Directory Info.
SysTrack AI Dependencies
SysTrack AI integrations, including SysTrack AI for Teams and SysTrack AI Voice, match the signed-in user to their systems. If user information is not collected, those users can authenticate but no systems are linked to them, and they cannot start a conversation. That matching depends on both Collect Active Directory Info and Collect Users Organizational Unit together:
Collect Users Organizational Unit controls whether the agent collects the underlying Active Directory attributes, including triggering the Microsoft Entra ID lookup.
Collect Active Directory Info controls whether the user principal name and email address are written to the user record.
Clearing either setting prevents this matching.
Collect Basic User Info does not affect this matching. It populates a separate set of user details, so clearing it does not stop SysTrack from matching a person to the systems they use.
