Let’s go right into the Health tool under Basic Tools.
This Health tool tells the story of what life has been like for a system over time, showing whether issues have been consistent or if they have improved or worsened.
The summary window adjusts based on the time range you specify and provides a snapshot of how the system’s health was impacted during that period.
In the Total Impacts graph, hovering over each colored bar reveals exactly how much time the system was affected by a specific resource constraint.
Below that, the Daily Impacts graph breaks down key performance indicators by day so you can quickly identify which days were more challenging for the system.
One important feature of the Daily Impacts graph is the Active Time metric, which is deselected by default but can be enabled from the legend to better understand the significance of daily impacts.
In most trending graphs within Resolve, you can also click and drag across a timeframe to zoom in for closer analysis.
Additionally, the trend graph shows how the system’s quality has improved or declined over time, helping you determine whether the system has been struggling for an extended period or if the issue is more recent.
Overall, the Health tool is essential for understanding the full context of what has been happening with a system.
