This article covers only the differences in SysTrack On-Premises on the Assignments page. For everything else, see Assignments.
Add Systems to the Assignments Tree
The + on the Systems tab of the Assignments page adds systems to the Assignments tree. It is available only in SysTrack On-Premises.
Go to Configure > System Configuration > Assignments and select the Systems tab.
Click the lock icon at the top right of the page to unlock SysTrack Configure for editing.

Use the drop-down list to display All Systems or only the systems that belong to a particular group, such as desktops, office systems, or virtual systems. You can also enter text in the Search value field or click the filter icon to specify advanced filter criteria.
Click the + to the right of the drop-down list. The Add A System To The Tree dialog appears.

Enter the system to add in the Name field.
Select Default or LocalDB database type.
To add more than one system at a time, enter a line-separated list of systems, or click From File and select a prepared file that contains a line-separated list of systems.
Click Add. SysTrack adds the systems to the Assignments tree with the default configuration assigned.
Optionally, select one or more systems, then use the Configuration drop-down list to select a different configuration or the Connection Type drop-down list to select a different type of connection.
When you are satisfied with your configuration assignments, click Save Changes in the upper right.
Click the lock icon at the top right of the page to end your editing session and lock SysTrack Configure.
Repair Installation on the Systems Tab
The Systems tab of the Assignments page has a Repair Installation icon to the right of the drop-down list. Select one or more systems and click it to repair the Agent installation on those systems. Repair Installation is available only in SysTrack On-Premises.
Master System in the Systems Grid
In SysTrack On-Premises, the Systems grid on the Assignments page also lists the master system.
Move Systems Between Masters
The Move Systems tab of the Assignments page appears in SysTrack On-Premises only when several SysTrack masters are in use. Use it to move any system in the Systems tab tree to a different target master.
Go to Configure > System Configuration > Assignments and select the Move Systems tab.
Click the lock icon at the top right of the page to unlock SysTrack Configure for editing.
Click the + in the upper right to add one or more systems to the grid. The Move Systems dialog appears.

From the drop-down list in the upper left, select the target master that the systems will be moved to.
Select Select Systems and then select one or more systems from the displayed list, or select Select Group and then select the group from the list below. You can also enter text in the Search value field or click the filter icon to specify advanced filter criteria.
Click Move Selected. Each selected system appears in the Move Systems grid, along with its Target Master and Request Time. SysTrack moves systems at periodic intervals during routine processing, and the systems remain in the grid until then.
Optionally, to remove systems from the Move Systems grid before they are moved, select the systems and click the X in the upper left.
Click the lock icon at the top right of the page to end your editing session and lock SysTrack Configure.
Inheritable Checkbox in Config Rules
In SysTrack On-Premises, each rule on the Config Rules tab of the Assignments page has an Inheritable checkbox. The checkbox determines whether SysTrack Deploy inherits the configuration that the rule specifies.
