Manage edit access in Configure by using the lock icon to open or close editing and by requesting or forcing control when another user is editing. Lock Configure when finished to save changes and allow others to modify settings.

Only one user at a time can edit settings in Configure. If no one is currently in edit mode, the lock icon at the top right of the Configure page will be closed or locked.
To gain edit access, click the lock. The icon will change to an open lock to indicate that Configure is open for editing and your username will appear as the editing user.
Clicking the closed lock icon when someone else is editing will display a message with two options.
Ask for Lock will send a message to the other user to that effect; the user can then click the lock icon in their Configure window to leave edit mode or ignore the request.
Force Off will immediately lock the other user’s access and give you editing control; changes that the other user was making will be stored until they again have access to the lock.
After you are done making changes, you should remember to lock Configure by clicking the lock icon to close it. This will ensure that all your changes are saved and allows other users to make edits.
