Sensor notifications automatically send an email or message to designated recipients when a sensor activates.
The Notifications page gives you a quick view of the notifications configured in your environment, including what they’re monitoring, where they apply, and who receives an alert when they’re activated.
The View Activated Notifications link navigates to the Notifications page in Prevent where you can monitor and manage the status of the sensor notifications.
Clicking on a notification shows the notification history and lists activated, resolved and dismissed notifications. Use the tools in the upper right to enable or disable, duplicate, edit or delete the notification.
Use the Create New Sensor Notification icon to add a new notification. The Recipients field uses values from the Recipients tab, so must be previously created. New notifications are enabled by default.
Recipients for sensor notifications are listed on the Recipients tab. The list can be filtered to show only those who receive notifications about anomalies.
Use the Add New Recipient button to create a new recipient. Recipients can be a user, distribution list, or system. If the recipient type is system, the connection can be via email or webhook.
