Sensor Details Page

This video explains how to use the Sensor Details page in SysTrack Prevent to review sensor information, identify affected systems, add notes, analyze trends, and take remediation actions across multiple devices.

Video Transcript

Use the Sensor Details page in Prevent to learn more about a current sensor.

By default, it displays data for all active systems, but you can view by group or include the results for all systems, including those that aren't currently active. The page provides detailed information about the selected sensor, or you can choose a different sensor from the dropdown menu.

The Note option allows you to create a message that appears for a specified duration of time when the sensor is viewed in Prevent and other SysTrack tools. The default expiration is 24 hours, but that can be customized as needed.

Below that is a grid showing the affected systems and key details about each one. The sensor trends charts show the distribution of affected systems by geography and over time.

In this example, the sensor description tells us exactly how to resolve the issue. Traditionally, IT or the help desk would need to work with each user individually to resolve this issue. With Prevent, you can remotely run a process, in this case a system restart, on multiple systems at once. This process will run on all the systems listed in the grid. If you do not want to run it on the entire list, use the filtering tool.

Once you have the systems narrowed down, click Take Action.
