This video explains how to use the Take Action feature in SysTrack Prevent to remotely run automations, collect additional data, engage with users, distribute surveys, and send alert messages to affected systems.

Video Transcript

Clicking the Take Action button on the Sensor Details page in Prevent displays a pop-up window from which you can remotely run a process on the affected systems listed in the grid.

Click the Select Tool button under the type of process you want to run.

Automations allow you to run an approved action. Select an automation from the list. Verify in the description that it is correct, then determine if you want to run it silently in the background, notify the user that you are running it, or prompt the user to begin the process. Finally, click the Run button.

Collection extensions get data that are not already being collected and add them to the SysTrack database. Select an approved collection extension from the list and click Run.

Engagements display a series of pop-up windows to provide information or instructions to the end user and may allow them to run an automation themselves. Select the engagement from the list, verify the description, and click Run.

Surveys pose a series of questions to end users to collect feedback. Select the survey, then click Show.

Alert messages can be displayed on affected systems. These are informational messages only. No processes, including automations, engagements, or other interactions, are run on the system.

Type in the message, then click Show.
