Use the Performance settings of a role to control how much performance detail the SysTrack agent records on laptops that run on battery, and how long it keeps detailed thermal data.
Go to Configure > System Configuration > Roles.
Click the lock icon in the upper-right corner to unlock Configure for editing.
Select the role.
From the Additional Settings list, select Performance.

Change the settings:
Write detail records to database while running on battery: Select to collect detailed data while the system runs on battery. If it is cleared, only 10-minute data points are recorded. Cleared by default.
Thermal data detailed record retention period (hours): How many hours detailed thermal records are kept. The default is 8 hours.
WARNING: Systems that use the role delete detailed thermal records older than the retention period at each scheduled cleanup. If you shorten the period, the older records are deleted at the next cleanup. Summary thermal data is kept for its own retention period.
Click Save Changes.
