One Minute Interval Values

Prev Next

Each one-minute interval can only have the value of one impacted minute.

The values are described in the table below.

Value

Description

0

No metric triggered within the minute.

1

All other metrics

3

Fault (three bad minutes)

10

Blue screen (ten bad minutes)

There are four checks for each metric in the one-minute interval.

If a metric is true within the one-minute interval, then the metric will contribute to the impact.

If the metric triggers bad health, all four of the samples will always be 1, unless there is a fault or a blue screen.

When an application fault or a blue screen occurs, it only contributes one impact minute for the one minute interval. That one impact  extends for the additional amount of time.

For example, if a system has a high CPU during that minute, the system  will have 1 impact minute.

If that same system has an application fault, the system will have 1 impact min for 3 total 1 minute intervals.
