The Dashboard tab of Enterprise Visualizer summarizes the experience of the users in your environment on one page. It shows the Health Score and how it changes over time, the health impact categories that cost users the most productive time, daily measures such as boot and login time and application faults, and the number of users on their systems during a typical week. Use it to spot changes in the environment and to decide where to look next in Observations or Analysis.
To open the dashboard, go to Visualizer > Enterprise. The Dashboard tab opens by default and is the first item in the left navigation, above Observations and Analysis.
The dashboard has six widgets. The top row holds Health Score Summary, Trending Health Metrics, and Current Top 5 Health Score Impacts. The bottom row holds Trending Analysis, Trending Details for Selected Category, and Concurrent Users (Typical Week).

Header Icons and Chart Menus
The title bar of a widget can show the following icons:
The ? icon appears on widgets that have a description. Point to the icon to see the description as a tooltip, or click it to open the description in a Description dialog.
The Export icon appears on every widget. On a grid, it exports the rows shown in the grid. On a chart, it downloads the chart data as a CSV file.
Chart widgets also have a chart menu icon (three horizontal lines) inside the chart. It opens a menu with View in full screen, Print chart, Download PNG image, Download JPEG image, Download PDF document, Download SVG vector image, Download CSV, Download XLS, and View data table.
On line and area charts, drag across the plot area to zoom in.
Health Score Summary
Health Score Summary shows the overall Health Score and the share of rated systems in each Health Score band for the selected period. For how SysTrack calculates the score, see How the Health Score Is Calculated.
Time Selector
Use the time selector list in Health Score Summary to choose the period for the widget: 5 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days, 1 Year, or 3 Years. 30 Days is the default. The date range label beside the list shows the first and last day of data in the period. SysTrack stores one snapshot per day, so if it holds fewer days than the period you select, the label and the averages cover only the days available.
The time selector also sets the period for Trending Health Metrics and Trending Details for Selected Category. It does not affect Current Top 5 Health Score Impacts, Trending Analysis, or Concurrent Users (Typical Week).
Health Score Summary Rows and Columns
The Health Score Summary table has the columns Category, Health Score, User Percentage, and Change. It has one row for the Overall Health Score and one row for each band. Each row fills only some of the columns.
Category | Health Score | User Percentage | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
Overall Health Score | Average of the daily Health Scores for the selected period. | Not applicable | Increasing when the most recent day is above the period average, Decreasing when it is below, and Static when the two are equal. |
Excellent, Good, Fair, and Poor | Not applicable | Average percentage of rated systems in the band, taken over the days in the selected period. | Increasing when the most recent day is at least 5 percentage points above the period average, Decreasing when it is at least 5 points below, and Static otherwise. |
A system falls into a band based on its Health Score. Systems with no active time are not rated and are left out of the percentages. For details, see Understanding the Health Score.
The Change column is color-coded by the size of the change. For the Poor row the colors are reversed, because a rise in the share of Poor systems is a decline in health.
Double-click a value in the User Percentage column to open the Health page under Observations.
Why the Overall Health Score Differs from the Chart
The Overall Health Score is the average of the Moving Average values that Trending Health Metrics plots for the selected period. Because it averages many 30-day values, it does not match any single point on the chart. In Daily Average mode it also does not match the plotted values, since Daily Average does not use the 30-day window.
Trending Health Metrics
Trending Health Metrics is a line chart with one point per day for the period set in the time selector. It has a list for the average type, a list for the metric, and a focus bar.
Daily Average and Moving Average
In Trending Health Metrics, select Daily Average or Moving Average in the list for the average type. Moving Average is always available. Daily Average is available only when the time selector is set to 5 Days or 30 Days.
Daily Average shows one value per day. For the Health metric, the value is the simple average Health Score across the systems for that day. For any other metric, the value is the average, across the systems, of the cost-weighted impact minutes for that category on that day (see How the Health Score Is Calculated).
Moving Average shows one value per day, where each value is the Health Score averaged over the trailing 30 days ending on that day. Choosing a longer period in the time selector only changes how many of these 30-day values the chart shows. It does not change the 30-day window. Moving Average is available for every period but only for the Health metric.
Metric List
The metric list in Trending Health Metrics sets the metric that the chart plots. Health is always available. When Daily Average is selected and the time selector is set to 5 Days or 30 Days, the list also offers CPU, Memory, Disk, Network, Latency, Startup, Virtual Memory, Virtualization, Installations, Updates, Events, Faults, Hardware Issues, and Active Time. The category metrics correspond to the health impact categories described in Health Impact Categories and Default Thresholds. Active Time shows the average active minutes per system for the day.
Focus Bar
The focus bar is the strip above the Trending Health Metrics chart. It previews the whole period. Drag across the strip to select a focus window, and the chart shows only the days in that window. Drag the window to scroll through the period.
To see the Health Score trend for one group over a 30-day window, use the Analysis tool and select a metric under Health (Desktop) or Health (Server) on the Groups tab. For details, see Use the Analysis Tool.
Current Top 5 Health Score Impacts
Current Top 5 Health Score Impacts is a pie chart of the health impact categories that cost users the most productive time. It shows the five categories with the highest impact and one slice named Other that combines the remaining categories. The chart uses the last 30 days of health data and ignores the time selector.
Each slice shows the share of one category in the summed impact minutes of all 13 health impact categories described in Health Impact Categories and Default Thresholds.
Trending Analysis
Trending Analysis lists 12 categories with their most recent values. The values come from the latest daily snapshot that SysTrack stores.
Select a row in Trending Analysis to chart it in Trending Details for Selected Category. The first row is selected when the dashboard opens.
Trending Analysis Rows
In Trending Analysis, double-click a value in the Value column to open the related page. The last column of the following table shows which page opens.

Trending Details for Selected Category
Trending Details for Selected Category is a line chart of the daily values of the category selected in Trending Analysis. The label above the chart shows the name of the selected category. The chart covers the period set in the time selector. SysTrack stores one snapshot per day, so the chart shows only the days that exist in the selected period.
Concurrent Users (Typical Week)
Concurrent Users (Typical Week) is a stacked area chart of the number of users on desktops and terminal servers for each hour of a typical week, split by system state. The time selector does not affect the widget.
Chart Series and Peak Label
The Concurrent Users (Typical Week) chart has one point for each hour of the week. Labels on the horizontal axis show the weekday and the hour. The vertical axis is titled User Count (Desktop and Terminal Server). The series are Sys Off, Sys Unused, Disc. Users, Screenlocked, and Active.
The label above the chart shows the busiest hour in the format Peak Concurrency: [count] users [weekday] at [hour]:00. The count is the highest number of active users in any one hour of the week.
