Data Egress is an add-on feature that gives cloud customers a secure and automated way to export condensed data from RPT tables and custom or factory views on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence. Once downloaded, the data can be used for deeper analysis in tools like Power BI or ingested into a data lake or warehouse.
To set up the export:
Start at the Data Egress page in Configure.
Select which export frequency you want to create or edit: Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
Add the data table or tables you want to download.
Set up a webhook recipient so you will be informed when your data is ready.
Click "Proceed to Export". Any changes will be applied to the next scheduled export.
Exports can be tracked in the Export History pane.
Once you are notified via the specified webhook, use the SysTrack API to request links to download the files. This request will require your Data Egress API Key and the Invocation ID provided in the notification.
Data Egress is a paid feature based on the amount of data being downloaded. For more information, contact your Lakeside customer success team.
