Learn how to configure legacy alarm notifications and customize how alert messages are delivered to recipients.

Alarms are legacy SysTrack alerts that trigger when a metric hits a certain threshold level. These have been replaced throughout the tool with sensors, but may still have value for specific use cases.
To create an alarm notification, create a new alarm notification profile [DR5.1]at the top of the page.
Use the Email Settings section to select whether to push notifications through email, SNMP, or both. Specify information about the recipients to whom these notifications should be sent.
In the Message Format section, compose the notification message. It can include selected SysTrack text options, or you can create your own using custom message.
