Important

Agent Version Support Changes

Support for version 10.12 agents ended on April 12, 2026.

Support for version 11.0 agents ends on July 26, 2026.

Agent Defaults Change

In the 11.8 release we will be updating some collection defaults for enhanced data privacy. User information and web collection will be disabled by default, any roles using the current out of the box defaults will revert to disabled.

You will need to re-enable these collection items after the 11.8 release in any of your active configurations:

  • Privacy

    • User Collection

      • Collect User Info

      • Collect OU

    • Inventory Management

      • Collect AD Info

  • Web Management

    • Install Chrome Extension

    • Install Chromium Edge Extension

    • Install Firefox Extension

    • Install Internet Explorer Extension

Use the SysTrack Collection Changes Kit to identify roles that use these collection items. The Kit helps you quickly determine which settings to re-enable after the 11.8 Cloud release.

This Kit is available for a limited time and will be deprecated after the 11.8 Cloud release.

Upcoming Application Latency Service Map Dashboard Change

In the 11.9 release, the Application Latency Service Map dashboard will be retired. As an alternative, use the Application Latency dataset in Visualizer.

New

Next-Gen SysTrack Experience & Reliability Engineering

A new landing page is available in SysTrack to help users get started faster with widgets and persona-based views for DEX Specialists and EUC Engineers. Administrators can enable and configure the Next-Gen SysTrack experience for user groups to control access to the new landing page, persona-based views, and related feature sets. See Landing Page.

SysTrack introduces Reliability Engineering, a proactive persona-based workflow to investigate, act, and track issues. EUC Engineers can start from sensors, notifications, and anomalies, while DEX Specialists can start from the Experience Index and move from impacted categories to the sensors behind that impact. See Reliability Engineering.

The Experience Index (previously called Health Score v2) is now available in SysTrack as a sensor-driven measure of user experience. It helps users identify the categories and sensors that have the greatest effect on digital experience and supports the DEX Specialist workflow in Reliability Engineering. This feature requires an upgrade to SysTrack agent version 11.8. See Experience Index.

Administrators can enable or disable sensors in Experience Index globally or by role, and adjust impact minutes in Sensor Management. The new Experience Index perspective and tabs in Sensor Management and Roles allow bulk actions, visibility controls, and category-based organization. See Management and Experience Index in Roles.

IMPORTANT: The EUC Engineer workflow in Reliability Engineering is available without an agent upgrade. Support for the Experience Index and the DEX Specialist workflow is being rolled out gradually for customers who have upgraded 50% or more of their endpoints to SysTrack agent version 11.8 or later. If these features are not available after the upgrade, contact your Lakeside representative.

Automations in End-User Channels Suggested by SysTrack AI

SysTrack AI now supports initiating approved Self-Help automations directly from supported end-user channels, including Microsoft Teams, Voice, MCP, A2A, and API.

This helps reduce mean time to resolution by allowing users to move from diagnosis to action in the same channel. To maintain administrative control, only approved automations from the Self-Help catalog are eligible for execution, and execution activity is logged for auditing.

Administrators can enable or disable this capability and select the channels where automation execution is available in SysTrack AI Setup.

An upgrade to SysTrack Agent version 11.8 is required only to display new end-user channel sources in Automation History in Assist and Resolve.

See SysTrack AI Automation Requirements and Visibility.

SecureBoot Status Collection

The SysTrack agent now collects SecureBoot status for Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, storing this information in SASCFG. See System Configuration Information - RPT_System_Config.

Ingest API for External Data Integration

Customers can now bring their own business context into SysTrack. Using the Ingest API, they can import external device and user metadata, so SysTrack joins that metadata with its own telemetry and makes all data available in dashboards, groups, and queries.

The Ingest API is available to all cloud customers without any additional cost. See Ingest API User Guide.

API for Retrieving Historical Data on Automation Executions

A new SysTrack API endpoint provides historical data about previously run automations on a specific system, including the method with which the automation was triggered, actual command that was executed by the agent, and any error messages. See Get automation execution history for one system.

API for Remaining SysTrack AI Conversation Limits

A new SysTrack AI API endpoint returns the number of credits (conversation units) remaining, allocated, and used for the tenant, along with the license start and end dates. See Get remaining conversation limits.

Audit API for SysTrack AI conversation transcripts

A new SysTrack Audit API endpoint enables customers to retrieve SysTrack AI conversation transcripts along with relevant user, system, and session metadata. See Audit API.

API for Programmatic Survey Response Submission

A new SysTrack API endpoint enables programmatic submission of survey responses from external tools and automated workflows. See Create a survey result.

API Key Expiration Email Notifications

SysTrack now sends automated email notifications to the maintenance email group when API keys are approaching expiration or have expired. See Manage API Keys.

SysTrack Browser Extension Support for macOS and Linux

SysTrack supports web data collection on macOS and Linux through the SysTrack browser extension for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Web data collected from macOS and Linux matches Windows data and is available in Resolve. See SysTrack Browser Extension.

Changed

Updates to Generic GPU Utilization Collection

For both integrated (int) and dedicated (ext) GPUs, the agent now collects overall and per-application GPU compute utilization on Windows and overall GPU memory utilization on macOS. See Dashboard Tool.

Updates to Battery Collection

Battery cycle count is now collected on Android devices to support proactive device maintenance.

Battery inventory on Windows devices now uses data from the Windows Battery Report, improving accuracy and adding cycle count, capacity, and chemistry information where supported.

Updated CPU Family Definitions

SAREFEECPU now includes updated CPU family definitions, enabling more accurate power estimation for the latest CPUs.

Static IP Addresses for Data Egress Webhooks

Data Egress webhooks now originate from a static set of IP addresses, allowing enterprise customers with strict firewall requirements to securely receive webhook notifications from approved sources. For details, see Data Egress Security.

Enhancements for AI-Powered Translation of SysTrack UI

  • Added support for the Polish language

  • Sensor descriptions localized for all supported languages

  • Enhanced multi-language batching translation for all supported languages

User Interface and Workflow Enhancements

The loading spinner in Configure > Roles tabs now stays visible until all tab content fully loaded.

Updating a group in Configure now displays a toast notification confirming the update, and the “New” text has been removed from the group creation success message.

Whitespace in Configure > Integration inputs is now automatically trimmed, preventing issues caused by leading or trailing spaces in values.

Action Governance no longer displays Import and Bulk Action buttons before the page is fully loaded.

Assist and Resolve now include OS-based filtering for automations in the Tools menu. SysTrack identifies the operating system of the device in focus and displays only the applicable automations.

Accessibility Enhancements

  • To meet WCAG 4.1.2 compliance, the “Quit app” button on the Assist Performance page now includes an accessible button role and name for screen reader compatibility.

  • To meet WCAG 2.5.3 compliance, the “Recheck Issue” button on the Assist Detected Issues page now includes the visible text in its accessible name exactly as displayed.
