Train Watson to Recognize Custom Questions
After using the Ask Question Editor to create new questions, edit existing questions, or import a .csv file into new or existing answer files, you need to train Watson to recognize your questions.
-
Select Watson Training from the navigation pane on the Ask SysTrack Admin page.
-
To create a new classifier for your recently added and edited questions, click the Create New Classifier button.
-
At the New Classifier dialog box, optionally change the classifier file name in the Name field, and click the Begin Training button.
NOTE: The amount of time for your questions to be classified with IBM Watson depends on the number of questions you have created. A few questions might take minutes, while a large number (a thousand or more) could take hours.
- To check the status of your classifier, click the Refresh status button. A status message will be displayed in the Status column of your classifier.
-
Once your classifier instance is available the status column will indicate that it is available. Test the classifier by selecting the appropriate row. Enter a question in the Test Classifier field, and click the Submit button. An example is shown below.
- If the results cause you to want to go back and edit the question in the Ask SysTrack Editor, select the appropriate row, and click the Delete Classifier button.
- When you are satisfied that your classifier results are as you desired, select the classifier, and click the Set as Active button.
