How to use the Assist tool to look up an employee’s system, review connectivity and latency data, and compare their performance with another user.

Video Transcript

This video explains how to use the Assist tool to look up employees and compare their system performance. In the Assist tool, you can search by employee name. If an employee calls with a Wi‑Fi issue, you can type in their name, and the tool will display all the systems they are connected to and the system they are currently logged into.

Once you open the system, you can see all the sensors that have triggered. You can review major latency issues, when the employee has experienced latency in the past, and how many minutes of impact they experienced during those events.

By clicking on the dropdown, you can view system information, including Wi‑Fi signal strength, the actual speed they are receiving from their Wi‑Fi router, and whether they are on a home network. In this example, the employee is remote, and you can see how their health score changes over time.

This information provides a quick picture of how the employee is connected, their Wi‑Fi signal strength, their speed, and what their home network environment looks like.

If you want to compare this employee to another employee, you can switch to the second employee and view their system information for a quick comparison. If the two employees are in the same location, you can compare their speeds, signal strength, and health scores. In this example, the second employee has a much higher speed, also works from home, has similar signal strength, and typically shows a higher health score.
