Resolve's Software Tool shows you a history of software package changes, installations, and usage for the time window you select. This tool is particularly useful to IT support personnel who need to investigate unauthorized changes on a system.
To get started with this tool, select a focus system, configure a Time Window for the data that displays on this page, and then proceed with the following sections.
Software Changes Section
The Software Changes Section shows a chart with diamond icons that represent software changes made during the time window. Hover over an icon to see the software change details and dates.
Installed Software Section
In the Installed Software section, a table gives information about the software packages that were installed during the time window. To filter which packages are included in the Installed Software table (and in the other section sections of this tool), begin typing the name of the package in the Find Package field. Click the filter icon to create more complex filters. You can use the Search value field to further limit the table. To sort the table by a column's data, click on the column's header.
Software Usage Section
In the Software Usage section, a table shows usage data for the time window. To sort the table by a column's data, click on the column's header.
