This video demonstrates how to identify resource-intensive applications in SysTrack and use Resolve and AppVision to investigate application resource consumption across the enterprise and on individual systems.

To determine if you have any applications running wild in your environment, you can start by checking the Applications observation in the Desktop Visualizer.
The Basic perspective can be sorted to show you which applications have the highest average demand for CPU, memory, and I/O, as well as other valuable information about application usage, such as the number of users and systems that access the application and how many versions exist.
Double-clicking the Number of Systems shows you which individual systems use that application, and double-clicking the FQDN will take you to the Resolve tool, where you can examine the Black Box System dataset applications to see how a particular application was consuming resources at a specific time on that individual system.
If you select a value in the CPU, Memory, or IOPS columns, SysTrack will graph that value over time.
Another way to drill into application usage data is by double-clicking the application name in the Visualizer, which takes you into a different tool, AppVision.
You can select the resource you want to examine, such as CPU, to see various utilization values across the enterprise and for individual systems.
