The Roles page is one of the most powerful and comprehensive areas of SysTrack Configure. Roles determine how SysTrack behaves on monitored systems by defining settings including what data is collected, how automations operate, what tools are available in the Self-Help app, and many other behaviors.
Rather than configuring these settings individually for every system, you can manage them centrally through Roles.
Because Roles contain many advanced configuration options, we'll only introduce the concept in this product tour. For more detailed information about Role settings and best practices, we recommend completing the SysTrack Administrator course in Lakeside Academy and referring to the SysTrack documentation.
