Change Sensor Variables (via Roles)

Prev Next

Adjust sensor variables per configuration by creating or editing a role in Configure, selecting the variable, modifying its value, and adding it to the role. Role-based variable settings override global sensor variable values.

Video Transcript

Sensor variables can be changed globally on the Sensor Variable Editor page of SysTrack Configure, or they can be changed per configuration using roles in Configure.

  1. Create or select a role. In this example, we will create a role called patient care low wifi.

  2. Select Variables from the dropdown and click Add Variable.

  3. Tap the plus sign to the left of the variable name—in this case, wifi signal strength—in the Add section at the bottom.

  4. Change the current value - in this case, 75 - then click Add.

Remember, this creates the role, but the role still needs to be applied to a configuration and assigned to systems.

Changes made to sensor variables via a role will override any global changes made on the Sensor Variable Editor page.
