Add KBAs to Sensor Descriptions in Assist

SysTrack administrators can attach knowledge‑base articles to sensors and determine if those articles appear for Assist users.

SysTrack administrators can link knowledge‑base articles to sensors, giving help desk technicians greater visibility in Assist.

  1. In Configure, go to Sensor Configuration Management. Selecting a sensor opens the edit window.

  2. Click the blue Add Link button, then enter the URL and link text.

  3. If more than one knowledge‑base article is needed, click the blue Add Link button again and repeat the process.

  4. Once all appropriate knowledge‑base articles are attached, go to the Visibility tab to choose where those articles should appear.

  5. Click the Save Changes button, then update the sensor configuration by clicking the button at the top of the page.

It may take up to 24 hours for changes to appear. When an Assist user examines a system, they can select the blue View button to access the linked articles.
