Select System Decomposition Options
Decomposition in the context of SysTrack Image Planner refers to the ability of Image Planner to identify users who have logged into a terminal server and considers each of the users as an individual system.
Decomposition provides a way of tailoring an image plan for a use case. (For example, in multi-tenanted installs where there is a published desktop with a large number of users assigned to a single uniquely identified system that you want to move to a VDI with a 1 to 1 endpoint mapped to these users).
Select from the following System Decomposition Options:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Do Not Decompose Systems | System default. Treats each system as a unique entity with no unique identifiers for users. |
Decompose - Exclude Non- Decomposable Systems | Decomposes, but excludes any system from the model and ignores systems that cannot be decomposed. These non- decomposable systems will not be considered in the model. |
Decompose - Include Non- Decomposable Systems | Decomposes any systems that cannot be decomposed into uniquely identified users and includes the systems that cannot be decomposed for a mix of user and systems identifiers. |
