Force a Dashboard to Always Display in Tile Mode

Dashboards will display in Tile Mode on mobile devices or if the browser is re-sized below 1024 x 768 (usually on a mobile device). (See Interacting with Dashboards in Tile Mode).

If you have Dashboard Builder privileges, and you want a consistent interface across devices, you can force a dashboard to always display in Tile Mode as follows:

  1. With your Dashboard open in the Dashboard Builder select the Dashboard tab on the Properties pane.

  1. Check the Show dashboard in tile mode option.
  2. Click the Apply button to save your changes. Now when you view the Dashboard in the Viewer the panes appear as tiles.
