The extension communicates with the SysTrack Agent Service to collect URL and page performance information. You can control which websites SysTrack tracks by configuring an allow list. ## What Web Data SysTrack Collects SysTrack collects performance-related data only. It does not collect webpage content or information entered by users. The collected data helps measure: - Page load and navigation performance - Web application performance - End-user experience when accessing important business websites This information helps you understand how web applications perform from the user's perspective. | Feature | Description | | --- | --- | | URL | The website address at the protocol and hostname level, for example: https://www.example.com. | | Title | The title of the webpage. | | Page Load Time | The time it took for the page to finish loading. | | Time on Page | The amount of time spent on the page before the user leaves it. | | Focus Time | The amount of time the page remained active and in focus. | | Full URL | The full address of the specific page, for example: https://www.example.com/example.html. | | Tab Count | The number of browser tabs open when the user leaves the page. | ## Why SysTrack Collects Web Data SysTrack collects web performance data to help you monitor and improve the user experience of business-critical web applications. You can use this data to: - Identify performance issues affecting third-party SaaS applications - Determine whether issues originate from the application or your internal environment - Measure real user experience instead of relying only on server-side metrics For details, see [Web Apps Tool](/documentation/docs/web-apps-tool), [Web History Tool](/documentation/docs/web-history-tool), and [Web Performance Tool](/documentation/docs/web-performance-tool) in Resolve. ## Example Use Cases If users report slow performance in Salesforce, SysTrack can help determine whether: - Salesforce is experiencing performance issues - The issue originates within your environment For self-hosted web applications, such as an intranet site, SysTrack complements server-side monitoring by showing how end users experience page load performance. This information can help you identify issues that server logs alone might not reveal.
