See [Pseudoanonymization of Sensitive Data](/documentation/docs/enable-pseudoanonymization-of-user-names-in-systrack). - The Office 365 integration configured in this article has two uses. The Microsoft 365 DEX Pack uses it for dashboards, and SysTrack uses it to [collect Microsoft Entra ID user information](/documentation/docs/collect-user-information-through-microsoft-entra-id). User information collection is required by [SysTrack AI integrations](/documentation/docs/integration-with-systrack-ai), including [SysTrack AI for Teams](/documentation/docs/systrack-ai-for-teams) and [SysTrack AI Voice](/documentation/docs/systrack-ai-voice). If you need only user information collection, you do not need to import the DEX Pack kit - configure the app registration and the integration, and grant the **User.Read.All** permission. ## Installation Steps To install this DEX Pack, complete the following steps: 1. [Import the Kit](/documentation/docs/microsoft-365-integration-installation-instructions#import-kit). 2. [Set Up the App Registration in the Azure Portal](/documentation/docs/microsoft-365-integration-installation-instructions#configure-this-dex-pack-and-integration). 3. [Set Up the Integration in SysTrack Configure](/documentation/docs/microsoft-365-integration-installation-instructions#set-up-the-integration-in-systrack-configure). 4. [Set User Information to Display in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center](/documentation/docs/microsoft-365-integration-installation-instructions#set-user-information-to-display). ### Import the Kit There are two ways to import the DEX Pack to SysTrack: - Import the pack directly from the Kits page in SysTrack. See the [Import Online Kits](/documentation/docs/import-online-kits) guide for more information. - Import a local file downloaded from the [DEX and Kit Downloads](/documentation/docs/dex-packs-dex-and-kit-downloads) page. Click the **Download Kit** link for the pack and follow the [Import Local Kits](/documentation/docs/import-local-kits) guide to finish the import. ### Set Up the App Registration in the Azure Portal SysTrack dashboards have a wide range of data sources. These dashboards are a result of custom collection of the Office 365 Graph API. 1. Go to your Azure Portal home page ([https://portal.azure.com/#home](https://portal.azure.com/#home)), and access **Microsoft Entra ID**. 2. Under the left **Manage** menu, select **App registrations**, and then select **+ New registration**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/87d11426-6b1f-4b19-b593-b71e55a81af3/Images/Documentation/AVD_AppReg(2).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T16%3A34%3A41Z&se=2026-11-08T17%3A34%3A41Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=lH3195RTVMhdm84o8IAwkx3w9e4DgLtrZuAGHI57rBc%3D) 3. In the **Register an application** dialog box, enter **Office365** in the **Name** field. Select **Accounts in this organizational directory only**. Then select **Register**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/87d11426-6b1f-4b19-b593-b71e55a81af3/Images/Documentation/MSOffice365register.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T16%3A34%3A41Z&se=2026-11-08T17%3A34%3A41Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=lH3195RTVMhdm84o8IAwkx3w9e4DgLtrZuAGHI57rBc%3D) 4. Make a note of the secret **VALUE**. > [!WARNING] > **IMPORTANT**: Be sure to add the secret value to your organization's password management tool so that you do not forget it. You cannot retrieve it after this step. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/87d11426-6b1f-4b19-b593-b71e55a81af3/Images/Documentation/integrations_office365_6(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T16%3A34%3A41Z&se=2026-11-08T17%3A34%3A41Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=lH3195RTVMhdm84o8IAwkx3w9e4DgLtrZuAGHI57rBc%3D) 8. Expand **Reports** and select **Reports.Read.All**. Expand **User** and select **User.Read.All**. Then select **Add Permissions**. > [!NOTE] > **NOTE**: These two permissions serve different purposes: > > - **Reports.Read.All** is used by the Microsoft 365 DEX Pack to read Microsoft Graph usage reports. > - **User.Read.All** is used to read user identity attributes. It is what SysTrack AI integrations depend on, and it is required even when the Microsoft 365 DEX Pack is not used. It is also necessary to clean up data, because your reports could still have data from people who no longer work at your company and no longer exist in O365 as users. > - Both permissions are Application permissions and require admin consent. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/87d11426-6b1f-4b19-b593-b71e55a81af3/Images/Documentation/addpermissions.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T16%3A34%3A41Z&se=2026-11-08T17%3A34%3A41Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=lH3195RTVMhdm84o8IAwkx3w9e4DgLtrZuAGHI57rBc%3D) ### Set Up the Integration in SysTrack Configure To use this DEX Pack, you must also update a few settings in SysTrack Configure. Select **OK**, and then select **Save Changes**. 7. Select the open **padlock icon** to end your editing session. > [!WARNING] > **IMPORTANT**: If you change or remove the client secret, client ID, or tenant ID on this integration, both the Microsoft 365 DEX Pack and Microsoft Entra ID user information collection stop working. Users of SysTrack AI integrations will no longer be linked to their systems until the credentials are restored. Client secrets expire - track the expiry date. ### Set User Information to Display in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center To ensure that names for users, groups, and sites are shown in the data SysTrack collects from this integration, follow these steps to edit a setting in Microsoft 365 admin center: 1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center. 2. Go to **Settings > Org Settings > Services**. 3. Select **Reports**. 4.
