The Hosts dataset provides information about how virtual hosts are performing. Each virtual host is presented, displaying the key data points to analyze host usage and understand which hosts are over/under utilized within the organization. By providing indicators about host usage, an idea of how to utilize various host machines and balance load can be determined to better help utilize the host assets of the organization.
Hosts Dataset Perspectives
Each dataset is provided with one or more Perspectives. See View Datasets for more information on dataset perspectives and how to customize your perspective display.
Basic
This perspective identifies the general attributes of host performance. This shows the basic resource utilization for all hosts within the organization.
CPU Usage Detail
This perspective provides full details on the CPU usage for the hosts over the measured time interval.
Memory Usage Detail
This perspective provides full details on the memory usage for the hosts over the measured time interval.
Network Usage Detail
This perspective provides full details on the network usage for the hosts over the measured time interval.
Disk Usage Detail
This perspective provides full details on the disk usage for the hosts over the measured time interval.
Host Organization
This perspective provides the basic organizational hierarchy for the hosts as defined within clusters, data centers, etc. This allows for a basic view of the organizational structure.
Software Information
This perspective provides information about the current software detected on each of the host systems.
Hardware Information
This perspective provides the hardware information reported by the host.
