# View the Critical Applications Dataset

Persona critical applications are applications that consume on average, greater than 5% of a user's total focus time, and have been used by at least 50% of the users that belong to the persona.

Each dataset is provided with one or more **Perspectives**. See [View Datasets](/documentation/docs/view-datasets) for more information on dataset perspectives and how to customize your perspective display.

The Critical Applications dataset provides a **Basic** perspective for the various personas including data both presented in a chart and listed in a grid for the number of critical applications, the number of applications, and the number of users belonging to a persona.
