## Video Transcript

Understanding when VPN connections are established can help IT service desk agents troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.

VPN connections are collected and displayed in the Resolve Black Box feature and can be viewed from the Network data perspective in the system data panes.

Several metrics are collected from VPN connections, including network core utilization frame rate by rate, bandwidth frame rate standard deviation, and byte rate standard deviation.

It’s also important to note that network traffic flowing through a VPN will additionally pass through another network adapter, which can be relevant when analyzing connectivity and performance behavior.
