# Run an Engagement with Prevent Tools

Use the Tools page in Prevent to run an engagement.

In the Operations section of the Prevent menu, choose **Tools**. You must choose a group of machines to populate the list. Select the desired group from the **Choose a Group** dropdown. Select the **All Systems** group to send the engagement to every monitored system in the SysTrack environment.

If necessary, you can click the filter icon and build a filter based on any of the criteria shown. For example, you could send the engagement only to machines with Windows 11 installed, only to machines with FQDNs that begin with a certain prefix, or only to virtual machines. Click the Apply button to enact the filters, or check the filter box to toggle the filter on or off.

Once the list of systems has been confirmed, click the **Take Action** button. Then choose the **Select Tool** button beneath the Engagements heading. Select the desired engagement and click the **Run**button.
