# Reinstall Information

Use the property REINSTALL=ALL to perform a reinstall, which adds missing files, replaces old files, registry entries and other tasks.

| Installation Type | Properties to Set | Notes |

| Advanced Pooled System | POOLDB, POOLDB_LOGFOLDER and POOLDB_WRITEFOLDER, RUNONPARENT | Set these properties or the default value is used. |
| Advanced Pooled User | POOLNAME | Set this property or the default value is used. |
| Advanced Cached Mode | CACHEDMODE and RUNONPARENT | Set these properties or the default value is used. |
| Configuration name | CONFIGNAME Optional properties: PROXYCONNECTIONHUB, AUTODETECTPROXY, AUTOCONFIGSCRIPT, HTTPSPROXY | Set this property and optional properties or the default value is used. |

> **IMPORTANT**: Failure to add REINSTALL=ALL to the command line during a reinstall results in a failed installation.

Example:

MSI (s) (BC:00) [07:43:22:056]: Product: Systems Management Agent -- The same version of this product is already installed. To perform a reinstall (repair) will require the property REINSTALL="ALL" assigned in the command line. This program will now exit.
