# Performance

Performance shows the percentage of resources being used on the system.

> [!NOTE]
> **NOTE**: If enabled, the auto-refresh option at the top right shows that the data is live. It refreshes every 15 seconds.

- CPU Usage: High CPU could mean the user is using an intensive application, such as video processing software or it is possible that the hardware needs to be upgraded.
- Memory Usage: High memory usage is a problem if the user tries to perform complex functions, such as running drafting programs or creating pivot tables.
- Disk Activity: A high disk activity percentage could mean that too many instances of an application are open or that the system is under-provisioned.
- Network Usage: Shows if there are any connection issues. Possibly related to a poor connection with the home WiFi or ISP.

> [!NOTE]
> **NOTE**: This resource tends to be high for remote workers.

## View More Information for Each Usage

Click any of the gauges at the top of the screen. Additional information displays in the grid below.

The following table shows the **Assist Performance Color Thresholds**. These are the default values, which can be overridden by using alarm settings.

| Threshold | Based on | Red Limit | Red Time | Yellow Limit | Yellow Time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| CPU Usage | System % Total CPU alarm thresholds | 95 | 240s | 90 | 120s |
| Processor Queue | System Processor Queue Length alarm thresholds | 5 | 240s | 4 | 120s |
| Memory Usage | Blue 0-39% Yellow 40-79% Red 80-100% These are constant for all systems | | | | |
| Trans Fault Ratio | System % Transition Faults alarm thresholds | 75 | 240s | 70 | 120s |
| Disk Activity | Performance: Disk % Disk Time alarm thresholds | 60 | 240s | 30 | 120s |
| Free Space | Performance: Disk % Disk Free Space alarm thresholds | 10 | 240s | 20 | 120s |
| Network Usage | Performance: Network % Net Utilization alarm thresholds | 50 | 240s | 30 | 120s |
| Retransmit Rate | Performance: Network % TCP Retransmitted alarm thresholds | 10 | 240s | 5 | 120s |
| Server Latency | Blue 0-99 Yellow 100-224 Red 225+ Error = 15000 These are constant for all systems | | | | |
| Session Latency | Blue 0-99 Yellow 100-224 Red 225+ Error = 15000 These are constant for all systems | | | | |

## Quit Applications

Remotely quit an application to determine if it changes performance.

1. Select an application from the list in the grid.
2. Click **Quit Application**.
