Performance RemoteFX Alarms

Prev Next

This article lists the Performance: Remote FX alarms of a role, with what each alarm monitors and its factory defaults. RemoteFX is a set of protocols for Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) that are used to remotely deliver Windows virtual desktops over a local area network (LAN).

The Performance: Remote FX category is on the Alarms tab of a role (Configure > System Configuration > Roles). To turn these alarms on and change their limits, times, and profiles, see Configure Alarms in a Role.

In the example alarm configuration below, If Average Encoding Time is higher than 0 ms for 120 seconds, a Yellow level alarm is triggered. If Average Encoding Time is higher than 1000 ms for 240 seconds, a Red level alarm is triggered.

Performance RemoteFX Alarms and Defaults

The Default column shows the factory values. A role can change them.
