# IP Address Lookup

The agent connects to [Current IP Check](http://checkip.dyndns.org/) to retrieve its external public IP address.

*Dyndns* is associated with Oracle DNS services.

Lakeside deliberately uses this site. The URL results in the display of **Current IP Address: xx.xxx.xx.xxx**.
