# Duplicate a Dashboard

You can duplicate an entire dashboard or just selected nodes (objects) of a dashboard either into an existing dashboard or a new dashboard.

1. If you wish to duplicate only a portion of the dashboard, select the data blocks you wish to duplicate.
2. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/87d11426-6b1f-4b19-b593-b71e55a81af3/Images/Documentation/duplicatedash_button.png) (Duplicate Dashboard) button on the Toolbar.

3. Choose to duplicate using one of the following options:
  - If you wish to duplicate the data blocks you selected in step 1, click the **Selected nodes** radio button
  - If you wish to duplicate an entire dashboard, select the **Entire dashboard radio** button
4. To create an entirely new dashboard from your selections above, select the **New dashboard** radio button, and enter a name for the new dashboard in this field. **OR**
5. If you wish to duplicate either an entire dashboard, or selected nodes into an existing dashboard, select the dashboard into which you wish to insert the duplication from the **Existing dashboard** drop-down list.
6. When you are done, click the **OK** button, or click the **Cancel** button.

> **TIP**: You can also duplicate a single object on the workspace by right-clicking it and selecting **Duplicate**.
