# Define a Managed Data Block

> **ON-PREMISES ONLY:**For On-Premises Only!

The Managed Data block provides access to data sets predefined by Lakeside that may exist outside of a database. To use the Managed Data block feature:

1. Drag a Managed Data block onto the workspace.
2. Select a **Data Source** from the drop-down list:

  1. SysTrack Operational
  2. SysTrack Processes
  3. SysTrack Views
3. Select a **Data Block** from the drop-down list.

> [!NOTE]
> **NOTE**: Initial available data sets are **Real Time Health**, and **Real Time Application.**

4. Click the **Apply** button to save your changes.
