# Create a New Dashboard

1. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/87d11426-6b1f-4b19-b593-b71e55a81af3/Images/Documentation/create_button.png) (Create New) icon on the Toolbar .
2. At the **New** dialog box, enter a name for your dashboard.
3. Click the **OK** button. If a dashboard with the same name already exists, an error message will display, otherwise a message indicating that the dashboard was created successfully will display, and you can begin dragging objects onto the workspace to build your new dashboard.
