# Auto Config Script

AUTOCONFIGSCRIPT

1. Default is “”.
2. Optional MSI parameter.
3. Preferred proxy setting: the address of a .pac file to get proxy information.
4. Example:
  1. AUTOCONFIGSCRIPT=http://<server>.<domain>/test.pac
5. Required during Install and Reinstall or the default value is used.
6. Required for an Upgrade if the user wishes to change the currently installed AUTOCONFIGSCRIPT assigned. This will also require FORCE=1 on the command line (see [FORCE](/documentation/docs/force)).
