# Application Alarms

Use the **Application** option on the Roles page **Alarms** tab to configure alarms for a set of application fault items. By default the provided Application fault alarms are configured to trigger an alarm with the Notification and Action options disabled. You can change the default configured if desired.

The following table describes each of the provided Application alarms:

| Application Fault Item | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Application Errors | Monitors application errors. |
| Application Hangs | Monitors application hangs. |
| Blue Screen | Monitors blue screens. |

In addition to the provided Application alarms that apply to all applications, you can add user-defined alarms:
