Agent Package and Installation Types

The SysTrack agent installer package for Windows contains the following files:

• SysTrackCloudEdition.msi

• VC_redist.x64.exe

• VC_redist.x86.exe

• lsiagent.cfg

The MSI is used in combination with the lsiagent.cfg file which provides the required information to connect the agent to the relevant cloud tenant. The MSI will auto-detect the lsiagent.cfg file if it is contained within the same directory. If not, the command line parameter can be used to specify (see command line installation).

There are two options to install the SysTrack Cloud agent:

1. Simple Installation, SysTrackCloudEdition.msi, for standard persistent desktops and regular physical workstations.

2. Command Line Installation, which is suited for tools such as SCCM or for creating golden images.

   2. Advanced golden image based non-persistent Pooled System installation.

   3. Advanced golden image based non-persistent Pooled User installation.

   4. Advanced golden image based non-persistent Cached Mode installation.
