# Add a Pane

You can add a Pane on your dashboard in which to display various controls such as an Option List, a Date/Time Control, and a Link Label:

1. In the Properties pane of your control block (such as Option List, Date/Time, Link Label) click the plus icon to the right of the **Pane** field.

2. Enter a **Pane Name**, and click the **OK** button.
