# 10.4 Release Notes

This cloud-only release includes various bug fixes, sensor updates, and new features.

- October 15, 2022: Canada, Japan, Australia, France, and UAE Clouds
- October 22, 2022: USA, Germany, and UK Clouds

## What's New?

### Data API Improvements

- As part of an ongoing initiative, more SysTrack data can now be accessed via a well-defined Data API. This will give Data Analysts parity in their data availability when migrating from on-premises to SysTrack CE.
- New Data API documentation, including Inventory endpoints, is being developed and published, with updates ongoing.

### UX Improvements

#### Sensor Perspective in Resolve’s Black Box

For improved convenience, IT technicians will now be able to see detailed sensor data in Black Box, making it easier understand which issues are affecting individual machines and eliminating the need to switch to the Event Correlation page.

#### Exposing Factory Roles in Configure

The SysTrack Configure > Roles page has been enhanced with the addition of a new Show Factory Roles checkbox. This allows SysTrack administrators to view all roles, both factory and user-created, to better understand their contents and how they affect the environment. Factory roles are labeled and can be copied but not modified.

#### Improved Consistency and Wording

Elements of the SysTrack user interface have been made more consistent. Certain UI terms have been clarified—for example, Num has been replaced by Number.

### Additional Features

#### Reporting Views Document

A new SysTrack RPT Report Views Guide provides descriptions of RPT tables and columns to enable easier access to SysTrack data.

#### Documenting API Responses

API users will be given more guidance on what response to expect when calling API endpoints so they can more efficiently research building applications or functionality on top of the SysTrack API.
